    Trigger: Enemy enters any of the regions of the Shire.

    At our time of need Dwarves have come to our aid. They speak of a hobbit reclaiming their fortress in the east not long ago. They seem like hardened warriors, but hobbits have a reputation of disliking strangers.


    Yes: We do not know them but they may be useful. Recieve half stack of Dwarven Warriors in Hobbitun. Relations with Dwarves of the Iron Hills increased. Ruler gets Dwarven smith ancillary (10% decrease building time). +unrest in the Shire.

    No: We don not trust strangers. Relations with Dwarves of the Iron Hills decreases. Half a stack of dwarven warriors spawn at lonely mountain.

    Trigger Mordor destroyed, enemy in the Shire

    The great sons of the Shire Peregrin Tok and Meriadoc Brandybuck say they will get reinforcements to help us win this war. They say they have friends in the south who can help in this time of need.

    Yes: Of course friends are welcome. pay 2000 gold Half stack Rohan riders and half stack Gondor warriors spawning in the Shire. Increased relations with Rohan and Gondor. Ruler gets traits Friend of Rohan (1+ command when commanding cavalry) and Friend of Gondor (1+ command when defending walls)

    No: We can not afford this. Ruler gets miserly trait.

    What do you think? Should they be longer/shorter or more negative?
    If similar traits exist just switch them. Or if they should pay for the Dwarves.

    I actually really like them! Was a bit bemused by the second until I read that mordor has tio have fallen, the the light switched on and mr Brain came home...well done!

    I don't see that there need to be any changes re negatives or whatever.

    Very, very nice!

    There is perhaps one very small thing I would change. Instead of "Freind of Gondor" giving +1 command when assualting walls, could it perhaps give +1 command when defending walls? This fits in more with the idea that Gondor had to hold back hordes of orcs from Mordor.

    My lord dwarves have recently been passing through our lands to the reclaimed dwarven city of Moria. If we help them by sending money and allowing free and full access to our realm, we may get new arms and armor from their vast forges. Shall we allow them full access to secure their new kingdom.

    Yes: They need help. pay 4000 gold, full allance and military access with ered luin and Khasad Dum. ability to build last level of blacksmith, and possibly swordsmith. Increase relations to ered luin and khasad dum.

    No: They can fend for themselves. decrease relation with ered luin and khasad dum.

    My lord the woods of minihirath are among the oldest woods of middle earth, its timber is sturdy and long. Shall we cut down the trees, so that we can use them for trade and buildings. Be warned though, there lives an ancient woodfolk in these parts that will not be keen on us cutting down their woods.

    Yes: Woodsmen poses no harm to bree. Gain 1000 gold extra each turn, all fms gain woods of eryn vorn trait (-construction cost) half stack woodmen rebels spawn at eryn vorn. greatly increase unrest in eryn vorn.

    No: We need not anger the woods. nothing happens.

    Trigger: dunland at war with enedwaith and minihirath

    My lord a tribe of wild men from the south of enedwaith have proposed an alliance with us. Saying that if we help them attacking enedweaith thy will do the same. They seem like an evil tribe but if they offer to attack our enemy we might do the same. Shall we send money to pay for their campaign.

    Yes: My enemys enemy is my friend. allied with dunland, pay 3000 gold. Dunland attack enedwaith. increase relation with dunland.

    No: we don not cooperate with wiicked men. decrease relation with dunland.

    The great east road

    My lord the elves are moving west towards valinor, they travel through our lands via the great east road. But the elven lord Elrond is compalining that it is outdated, and that it can no longer hold the growing traffic. He proposes a deal where the elves rebuild the great east road, in exchange for full access to move people through our realm.

    Yes: rebuild it now. Fully upgraded roads are built in all regions along the great east road. elves gain militaryu access. increase relations with elves.

    No: it is good enough. decrease relations with elves.

    Character event

    Palladin ii

    The old thain dies

    My lord, ever since the destruction of Arthedain the shire has had a thain. The thain is a position of great importance in the shire and need we need to keep peace. The current thain Ferumbras iii is dead and the most obvius successor would be his eldest son Palladin. However paladin has a ditrust of big folk and might pull the shire out of bree land. But if we pay him we might persuade him to continue to stay in the union without bloodshed.

    Yes: pay him off. Pay 4000 gold. Paladin get thain trait.

    No: hell stay. 40% the shire settlements rebel. Paladin gets thain trait, and joins the rebellion.

    My lord the leader of the rangers have asked us for aid. In ancient time they used to be the kings of Arnor, and would like to make arnor a prosporous region once more. The rangers however feel that if Arnor is to reach its old prosperity the shadow of Angmar must be removed. The rangers plan on one final blow againist Carn Dum to wipe the filht, of this earth forever. They wish for the troops to be lead by you, to make sure all of Arnor will hear of the great victory. Shall we send the elite guards to their aid?

    Yes: Send them now. One full stack mix of dunedain and elite bree units spawn near Gram. Relations with rotn to max. Pay 3000 gold.

    No: Relations with rotn decrease. Half stack of Dunedains spawn near Gram.

    Upgrade event

    The bridge of Stonebows

    My lord when hobbits first settled in the Shire they were given one task. Maintaining the bridge of Stonebows, and keeping it safe was the only order the hobbits were given, and they have kept it safe. But lately there has been a neglect of service by the maintenance crew, and the shiriffs who guard the bridge are fat and not worthy the task they are given.A ranger spokesman have come to us and said how vital that bridge is, and that it must always be its best. The rangers will give us aid if we promise to maintain the bridge. They have also offered to give the sheriffs a retraining to make them worthy of the new bridge.

    Yes: Fix it. pay 4000 gold. Relations with rangers increase. Gain new stonebow bridge building in Hobbitun(+trade) and upgrade road in Hobbitun. Rangers attack faction enedwaith. They sheriffs get improved

    No: The old king is dead. relations with rotn decrease.

    Trigger: captured eryn vorn 1 year later.

    My lord after the recent campaign in eryn vorn the hobbits have been getting ill. The have gotten a strange discease unknown to them before. The soldiers are currently been disbanded and are moving for the shire, shall we try to hold them back. Be warned that they have been fighting for a long time and are eager to return.

    Yes: hold them back. Faction leaders increase dread, unrest increase in shire. half stack rebel hobbits spawn at south shire. 40% part 2 starts in 8 turns

    No: It will be no harm. start part 2 in 4 turns

    part 2

    My lord a plague has stuck the hobbit population, they are dyong fast and it has spread to all of the shire. As of now you have two options: either block all access to the shire to prevent the discease to spread to the outer areas, or pay the elves as they surely have a cure.

    Yes: Lock them in. all trade with shire blocked, all settlements of the shire lose 50% population. start part 3 a in 6 turns.

    No: Consult the elves. pay 4000 gold relatons with elves increase shire lose 30% of population start part 3 b in 6 turns.

    part 3a

    My lord, youre decision was partly right, the discease has stopped spreading but half the shire lies dead. Perhaps consulting the elves would have been wiser?

    Effect: unrest increase everywhere.

    Part 3b

    The elves have brought you the cure, and we have started spreading it out. But nevertheless a lot have died already. Perhaps a blockade would have been the best after all.

    Effect: unrest increase everywhere.

    Is the bree events done now? and i know i coulld maybe make it like % population loss per turn but i dont know what is the easiest to code.

    Trigger: Unrest more than 10%

    My lord the people of bree land have become bandits. More and more people are joining their cause each day, standing againist your power. If you dont stop this uprising soon entire cities could fall to the bandits. but please be merciful and dont murder them and cause even more unrest.Shall we assemeble host to attack them.

    Yes: Assemble the men. Half a stack of bandits in each of the provinces of bree-land. Full stack soldiers spawn at bree. if the bandit stack are not defeated within 20 turns, archet becoome rebel.

    No: The same as yes, ecept the soldiers at bree.


    Notification

    Archet has fallen

    Trigger: If the bandits arent killed

    My lord the bandits have taken Archet, you must act now or the rest of the cities might fall. Archet is an important city and it is vital for keeping peace, and if we lose it forever we will look weak to our enemies.
