Hi, I am having some problems installing 3.99. When I open up the 001 file with 7zip I have the correct list of contents. What I need to know is what is meant by extract the file: do I extract all the contents, including everything in preferences etc, or just the .cfg or the .bat?

If I can suggest you, extract file part1 to your ThirdAgeDac folder on your desktop (it will extract both parts automatically, so you have nothing to do with part 2), then cut it out and place it to your Medieval II\mods, then run the .bat file (and change the windowed = true line to windowed = false in your .cfg file).
